As us millennials have stepped forward into the world of pupper pawrenthood we have brought with us our love of pop culture. Which we have begun inserting into our pup culture by naming our precious puppers after our favorite shows and characters.

This has left many dog parks filled with the sounds of pawrents calling after their preposterously named puppers without a shred of embarrassment. Signalling the normalization of these somewhat unhinged names and the dawn of a new era in which the boundaries for what is an acceptable dog name have been greatly shifted.

You could expect to find yourselves at a function in someone's home being introduced to their boxer who they named Rocky. You should not be surprised when you start petting a pup on the street and discover it is actually named Kramer. And you would look quite out of place to be standing in line at the deli while being shocked to find out that the friendly dog behind you is named after Celine Dion. The times they are a changing, and we are here to keep you up to date on the latest goings on amongst canine-kind.
